Two more die in river flooding

Two more person have died in Dang district after being swept away by flooded river.

The dead have been identified as 48-year-old Ram Bahadur Khadka of Manpur 1, Jinuwagaun and 5-year-old girl Supriya Pokhrel of Hapure.

Khadka was swept away by the swollen Chauwa River Thursday evening while the girl was swept away by Kula River while returning from school. Police said the bodies of both were recovered late in the evening.

Police also recovered the body of 48-year-old Thug Bahadur Rawat of Baghdui, Dhanauri-9, Thursday morning. Rawat had been swept away by the river on Wednesday.
