Helen Shah passes away

Helen Shah, aunt of King Gyanendra, died Wednesday morning in Chhauni, Kathmandu.

Wife of Prince Basundhara, the brother of late King Mahendra, Shah was suffering from cancer for a long time. She died at around 5:30 am Wednesday morning.

Her family would perform her last rites at the Pashupati Aryaghat on Wednesday afternoon.
