Indian foreign secretary to visit Kathmandu

Shiv Shankar Menon, Secretary at the India's Ministry of External Affairs, is scheduled to visit Kathmandu from Saturday.

Menon will arrive in Saturday for a three-day visit. During his stay, Menon will hold talks with senior leaders and officials to gain latest knowledge on the ground situation and political process here.

Reports say Menon is expected to call on Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Minister for Foreign Affairs Sahana Pradhan and other political leaders.
