Speaker Nemwang meets Sitaula, Mahara; stresses on eight-party unity
Speaker of the interim parliament Subash Chandra Nemwang has urged the eight parties in an attempt to resolve the differences within the eight-party alliance at the earliest and stay united for holding the Constituent Assembly election successfully.
Speaker Nemwang made this request during separate meetings he held with Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Minister for Information and Communication Krishna Bahadur Mahara at his residence in Baluwatar Thursday morning. He advised them that the parties should end the existing political stalemate soon if they are at all serious about holding the CA election on the scheduled date.
Nemwang, who recently returned from his visit to eastern Nepal, said the people are very much positive and look forward to the CA elections with great expectations and that it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that it is held in a free and fearless environment.
