Renowned businessmen nominated as KU senators

The Prime Minister has nominated renowned businessmen as senators of Kathmandu University (KU).

The PM, in his capacity as the Chancellor of KU, nominated Sanjib Raj Bhandari, Rajendra Khetan and Padma Jyoti as senators of the university for the next three years.

Meanwhile, businessman Rajendra Khetan has also been nominated as a member of Nepal Advisory Panel of UN's Asia Pacific Leader's Forum (APLF) on HIV/AIDS. Other members of the panel include student leader Gagan Thapa and women activist Sapana Malla Pradhan, among others. nepalnews.com Sep 14 07
