Taulihawa limps back to normalcy; death toll reaches four
Life in Taulihawa in Kapilvastu is gradually retuning to normal though the local administration has not lifted curfew fearing fresh riots.
According to reports, displaced people are taking asylum in police posts and army barracks while some houses in the city continue to burn. The administration has not been able to put out the fire that burnt more than 300 houses, dozens of shops and some factories.
Police said the situation in Krishnanagar and Chandrauta are still vulnerable. Police have recovered the dead body of Dhan Bahadur Magar from the incident area. With this, the death toll has reached four.
The local administration had re-imposed curfew in some parts of Butwal from 8 p.m. till 5 a.m. The curfew was lifted during the day on Monday.
