PM in Biratnagar, Prachanda in Chitwan to cast their votes
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has reached his hometown of Biratnagar, Wednesday, to cast his vote on Thursday.
PM Koirala will cast his vote at a polling center in ward number 9 of Biratnagar at Adarsha Higher Secondary School.
Likewise, Maoist chairman Prachanda, who led most of his life as an underground rebel leader, will be exercising his democratic voting right in Chitwan district. He will cast his vote in a polling center in Laxmi secondary school in Bharatpur.
PM Koirala has not contested from any constituency this time. His name is in the closed list of Nepali Congress (NC) under Proportional Representation category.
Prachanda is contesting from Kathmandu-10 and Rolpa-2 constituencies.
The general secretary of Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal who is contesting from Kathmandu and Rautahat, will cast his vote in a polling center in Koteshwore in Kathmandu.
