Maoist to make additional efforts to include all in govt
The meeting of the central secretariat of the Maoist has decided to make
additional effort to include Nepali Congress, UML and other Madhesi
parties in the coalition government under its leadership.
Chairman Prachanda told reporters after the meeting that the central
committee meeting called for next week will decide on format of the new
government, which he predicted would take another one month to get its
shape.
Very few leaders of Nepali Congress, UML and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum are
of the opinion that their party should not join the new government.
Prachanda further said parties other than present Seven Party Coalition
would be accommodated into the new government.
Stressing that the first sitting of the constituent assembly would declare
Nepal a republic nation, Prachanda said his party has sent messages to
king through indirect channels to pave way for peaceful transition of
Nepal into republic by vacating the palace, accepting the verdict given by
the people.
Meanwhile, Prachanda denied reports that he is likely to make a visit to
India soon.
Stating that people have big expectation on the Maoist-led government,
Prachanda said preparation have begun to unveil special programmes to
