As this will be the first CC meeting of the party after the Constituent
Assembly (CA) election, it has assumed greater significance especially as
the party is gearing up to form the next government after emerging as the
single largest party.
According to Maoist leader Dinanath Sharma, the meeting will discuss wide
ranging issues including the evaluation of the election, formation of next
government, selection of CA members under proportional representation
category and so on.
Apart from the Maoists, the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) is also holding
its central committee meeting, which began from Sunday.
Likewise, Nepali Congress (NC) is also holding its central working committee meeting. The NC CWC met on Thursday and is set to meet again
