Chief Election Commissioner Bhoj Raj Pokharel has said the recommendations
made by the national and international observers would be taken into
consideration while conducting next elections.
In a discussion with the representatives of the national and international
observation groups at the Election Commission Wednesday Pokharel said
flaws in voters' lists and issue of voters' identity cards were the major
concerns raised by the observers' report.
He admitted that Constituent Assembly elections did not take place in a
completely flawlessly despite rigorous efforts from political parties,
commission and the government.
The observers drew attention of the commission regarding the poor security
situation ahead of the elections that directly affected the outcome of the
elections.
But they observed that restoration of democratic system and peace were the
fundamental achievements made through the polls that Nepali people must
