Speaking at a programme organised by UML-affiliated Youth Force in Kathmandu Wednesday, Khanal said CPN (Maoist) that is the largest party in the Constitution Assembly (CA) could not take proper initiation to form the government.
Khanal, however, predicted that a new government would be in place within a couple of days. He further said the country would not remain without
government for more than a few days even if the Maoists failed to form the government.
According to the UML general secretary, other parties would come forward if the Maoists became unable to form the government. He also made it clear that the UML was in favour of national unity government. nepalnews.com kp Aug 06 08
