Presenting a paper at the interaction, Dr Krishna Bhattachan, a noted sociologist and Indigenous rights activists, also urged Constituent Assembly lawmakers affiliated to indigenous groups to play a pro-active role in drafting the constitution by enlisting the rights guaranteed by the UN Declaration.
As part of the seven-day program, NFIN is organizing a cultural show at Tudhikhel today which will be attended by CPN (Maoist) leader Ram Bahadur Thapa, Nepali Congress general secretary and lawmaker Kul Bahadur Gurung and UML leader Ashok Rai. nepalnews.com ag Aug 08 08
