PM Dahal directs govt secretaries to work earnestly
In his first joint interaction with senior government officials, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed them to work earnestly.
Stating that the first duty of the government will be to provide relief to the people and end impunity, PM Dahal sought the cooperation from the bureaucracy.
He also sought to reassure the officials by saying that he doesn't intend to harbour any prejudice.
"Nobody will be discriminated on the basis of their belief. If you have any prejudice, you should also abandon that in order to make the government successful," he said.
Pointing at the huge public expectations from the government, the Prime Minister urged the officials to become sensitive and extend active support in implementing government policies. nepalnews.com sd Aug 20 08
