Landslide displaced taking shelter in DDC office
The continued rainfall causing landslides has affected 200 people of 25 households in Myanma, the district headquarters of Kalikot.
The villagers have been displaced from their homes and are taking shelter in the District Development Committee (DDC) office since two weeks.
Five persons, who had been missing in landslide at Sukatiya VDC 8 Dahachaur since Monday morning, were found dead. So far, 13 persons have died in the landslide. The request by the all-party meeting to the government for immediate support proved futile.
