Three die in Tanahun bus accident

At least three persons were killed and two dozen others injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in Tanahun district Tuesday.

The Na-3-Kha 2491 bus heading for Kathmandu from mid-western Dang district fell some 50 meters down the highway near Khaireni, Tanahun, reports said. One of the victim has been identified as Gopi Oli, 71, of Salyan
district.

The bus had changed its route from Butwal due to the vehicular strike imposed by locals in Nawalparasi.

The injured people have been undergoing treatment in Tanahun and Pokhara. nepalnews.com Aug 26 08
