'Koirala is NC's PP leader'

Nepali Congress (NC) has said party president and Constituent Assembly member Girija Prasad Koirala is its parliamentary party leader.

In response to a letter from the cabinet last week seeking the name of its parliamentary party leader, NC said that Koirala is the parliamentary party leader “until another arrangement is not made”.

“He (Koirala) is the parliamentary party leader until another arrangement is not made, ” NC chief whip Laxman Ghimire told Kantipur, adding that only after the revised statute of the party is approved will the process of selecting NC’s parliamentary party leader begin.
