Workers threaten to close down industries
Industrial workers in Nawalparasi district have threatened to close down
all industrial activities if the management did not increase their
salaries as per the government decision.
The Maoist affiliated workers on Thursday warned of closing down the
industries if their demands are not met in the next three weeks.
Accordingly, the workers from today began working wearing black armband in
a symbolic protest against the industry management.
After 10 days, the workers said they would go for protests and if the management continued to ignore, industries will be forced to close down after three weeks.
Industries in several Terai districts have remain shut since last few
