Talks with a Terai group stalled

The pre-scheduled talks between the government team and the Samyukta Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha could not take place on Wednesday in Janakpur.

The talks were stalled as the government team leader and Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma 'Prabhakar' could not reach Janakpur due to disruption of flights thanks to bad weather.

The stalled dialogue could now take place on Friday.

Earlier, the talks coordinator of Morcha, Kautilya Sharma, had confirmed that the talks would be held on Wednesday.

Sharma has said that his side will put forth few demands on the first day of the talks.
