Govt team reaches Janakpur for talks

The government talks team led by Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma 'Prabhakar' has reached Janakpur to hold talks with Samyukta Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha.

The Morcha is one of the armed Terai outfits engaged in violence in the region.

Although the talks were to have taken place on Wednesday, the government team could not fly to Janakpur on that day due to bad weather.

Therefore, the talks had been put off till Friday.
