Oli eyes UML top post
Senior UML leader K.P Sharma Oli has revealed his ambition for the top
post in the party.
Speaking at a face-to-face programme organised by Press Chautari Nepal in
Jhapa's Damak, Oli said he would field candidacy for party chairman in the
upcoming general convention. He claimed that he is capable of giving
strong leadership to the party.
The 8th general convention of party to be held in Butwal from February 16
to 21 will elect new leadership apart from endorsing the 'updated'
political line and strategies of the party.
The party had recently decided to go for 'multi-post system', and revive
the post of chairman, which was vacant after the death of party leader
