"We are thinking about addressing the people in some way," he said, speaking at a book launching programme in the capital, Wednesday.

Pointing at the crisis situation in supply of essential goods, Prachanda said, "Supply should be ensured even by mobilising the seven party workers up to the border."

His remarks have come on the day when the seven party meeting was expected to take up the issue of Terai agitation. However, the meeting did not take place.

However, sources have revealed that some leaders of United Madhesi Democratic Front and some leaders of Nepali Congress held talks with Indian officials at the Indian Embassy, on Wednesday evening. Details of the meeting have not been made public. nepalnews.com sd Feb 20 08
