Bearish trend continues at NEPSE
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 1.62 points over the week, marking a third straight week of bearish streak at the stock market.
Trade analysts said that the loss indicated that the overpriced market is in correction mode.
According to NEPSE data, its index opened at 879.69 points at the start of the week and ended at 878.07 points on Thursday, the last day of stock trading.
Total turnover stood at Rs 372.7 million over the week, with 454,919 unit shares having changed hands in the bourse, a rise of 17.95 points as compared to transactions of the previous week. nepalnews.com ag Jan 27 08
