Security personnel vacated the offices of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Lalitpur Sub-metropolitan City and Bhaktapur Municipality after the Local Development Ministry officials received an anonymous telephone call warning that bombs were planted inside the three municipal buildings.
At KMC, bomb disposal teams of Nepal Army and Armed Police Force found piece of papers stuffed inside a plastic bag, which was described by the telephone caller as a bomb.
The bomb disposal teams also scoured through the offices of the two other municipal offices but found nothing.
