Paras keeps low profile in Singapore
Ex-crown prince Paras Bikram Shah, whose departure to Singapore recently caught headlines in Nepali media, has kept a low profile there, reports say.
According to the Associated Press, whereabouts of Paras is not known though local Nepalis said strict laws should keep the controversial figure
in line.
"It's good he's in Singapore because the country is very strict and he cannot do any hanky-panky," local reports quoted Jagdish Shrestha, 31, a Nepali restaurateur in Singapore as saying.
Nepalis in Singapore also expressed hope that he would improve his behaviour if he settled in that country.
It has not been clear why Paras left country for Singapore, but it has been speculated that he is searching for a school for his children's education. His three children stopped attending schools in Nepal following the declaration of the country as a republic on May 28. nepalnews.com ia July 03 08
