CA session disrupted again

The Constitution Assembly (CA) meeting has been disrupted for the eighth consecutive time Friday due to the obstruction created by Terai-based parties.

As soon as the CA session began at around 11 am today, CA members from Terai parties again came to the rostrum and started chanting slogans, much like the way they had been doing on previous occasions. They had obstructed the CA session yesterday too, forcing the Assembly to adjourn till 11 am today.

Irked by the repeated disruption of the proceedings, Kul Bahadur Gurung, who is chairing the CA session, told the Madhesi CA members that they should be aware of not trampling upon the rights of others while demanding theirs.

While the Madhesi CA members were chanting slogans for fulfillment of their demands, Gurung repeatedly appealed to them to let other CA members put their concerns also.
