Three parties decide to carry on consultations with Madhesi parties
As the political deadlock deepened with the rejection of Madhesi parties the government's supplementary bill on amending the constitution, the three parties have agreed to hold further consultations with them.
"The UML had taken the initiative to hold meeting with Nepali Congress and Maoists this morning. We held the meeting at the office of our parliamentary party and concluded that we should carry on with the consultations with Madhesi parties," UML leader Bhim Rawal told Nepal FM.
"We reviewed the situation emanating especially after the disruption of CA yet again. We will hold talks with three Madhesi parties in the afternoon on Sunday," Rawal said.
The meeting among the six parties is likely to be held at the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction at around 2 pm.
