Of the 26 members nominated by the cabinet, the 23 were present at the swearing in on Monday while three could not attend the ceremony due to various reasons.
The twenty three members sworn in include Mahantha Thakur, Nilambar Acharya, Narayankaji Shrestha, Hari Rokka, Radheshyam Adhikari, Rajendra Khetan, Indra Maya Gurung, Kamala Pant, Ngima Lama, Pasang Sherpa, Bhagwati Chaudhary, Shila Katila, Bhupendra Chaudhary, Mahesh Chaudhary, Ikbal Ahmad Shah, Sher Bahadur Pahari, Shyam Sundar Gupta, Sabina Baram, Sushil Chandra Amatya, Chandralal Meche, Jagat Bahadur Tajpuriya, Jagge Bahadur Shahi and Harilal Thapa.
Three others who could not attend the swearing in were Biswonath Upadhyaya, Padma Jyoti and Dabal Bahadur Shah.
