Talking to Neaplnews on Saturday, he opined that this model would be helpful in balancing the demands of different parties and ethnic groups.
Prajapati argued that ethnicity and language based federalism could lead the country into disintegration.
He added that Constituent Assembly (CA) is the only legitimate authority to decide the model of federalism and that decisions on national issues cannot be taken outside of the Assembly.
The NWPP leader further said that matters of national importance like defence, finance and foreign policy must be decided at the central level while other rights should given to states.
According to him, the central government should hold special economic rights to maintain economic balance in the states.
He said socialist model of Cuba, North Korea and China would be best for Nepal. nepalnews.com kp July 12 08
