Rookie Nirajan Khadka strikes as Nepal beats Indian giant East Bengal
The Nepalese National Football got off to a flying start in their warm up
matches beating Indian giant East Bengal 1-0 in Kolkata, ahead of their
AFC Challenge Cup starting from July 30 in Hyderabad.
Nirajan Khadka scored in the 20th-minute when Nepal Police striker Jumanu
Rai's strike rebounded off the bar.
The Nepali team is currently in Kolkata to fine tune their preparations
for the Challenge Cup. Nepal will play another warm-up match against
Chirag Sports Club on Saturday before heading for Hyderabad.
Nepal has been drawn in Group B along with DPR Korea, Myanmar and Sri
Lanka. Nepal will open their campaign against Myanmar on July 31, before
