Yeti UK congratulates new Prez, CA Chair

Yeti Nepali Association, UK has congratulated first President of the Republic of Nepal, Dr Ram Baran Yadav, and newly appointed chairman of the Constitutent Assembly, Subabsh C. Nemwang.

In a statement, the Association expressed hope that President Yadav will be successful in unifying Nepal known for diversity in terms of language, culture, race and religion. "We can bring about prosperity and stability in Nepal only by drafting an inclusive constitution and guaranteeing employment for all," the statement said, adding, "There was a need to restructure Nepal so as to fulfil aspirations of people living in Himal, Pahad and terai."

The statement-- signed jointly by chairman of the Associaiton Chiranjibi Dhakal and General Secretary Rajendra Pudasaini—congratulated former Speaker Nemwang on assuming the high post of Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and expressed hope that he will be able to galvanize aspirations of all the Nepalese in drafting a new democratic and progressive constitution.
