SLC to begin from Monday

The annual School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination for this year is beginning from Monday.

Students numbering 378,132 students from across the country will appear for the week-long examination.

According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, 168,353 boys and 145,261 girls will appear for the examination as regular examinees. Likewise, 24,295 boys and 34,156 girls will appear as exempted students.

Harka Prasad Shrestha, chief of the Office, said all preparations have been completed for the examination, which will be held through 1299 exam centers – up by 113 centers from last year.
