Nepal asks Maoists to stop attacking cadres of other parties
CPN (UML) general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged Maoist cadres not to treat the cadres of other parties as foes.

Speaking at a function organised by the UML district committee in Kathmandu Saturday, Nepal said the Maoists must stop physical targeting the cadres of other parties, and emphasised that cooperation and coordination among the parties is necessary for peaceful polls.
He also said there is a possibility of some of kind of electoral alliance with the Maoists if they start behaving and assure that they will stop attacking leaders and cadres of other parties.
The UML general secretary also said he would soon talk with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala regarding the unruly activities of the Maoists. nepalnews.com ia Mar 22 08
