MK Nepal still sees possibility of leftist alliance
Even as only two weeks remain for the April 10 election for Constituent Assembly (CA), Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has said there is still possibility of forging leftist alliance.
Addressing an election rally at Chandranigahapur of Rautahat district, Wednesday, Nepal said that the electoral alliance can be forged even at the last minute.
His comments have come amid war of words between UML and Maoist leaders who have accused each other for being responsible for not forging such alliance.
The UML leaders have pointed at series of physical assaults against its workers and leaders by Maoists and said that such activities have spoiled chances for alliance.
Meanwhile, Nepal said all the republicans should unite in the election to defeat monarchists.
