YCL continue to put obstacle in polls campaign

Members of the Maoist affiliated Young Communist League looted and burnt down polls publicity related materials of Rastriya Prajatantra Party stored in the house of the party's central member Kedarnath Rai in Sankhuwasabha.

A group of about two dozen YCL cadres burnt the materials in the night and also threatened Rai not attend any election campaigns, reports say.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress poll publicity campaign office in Constituency 2 of Nawalparasi district said YCL cadres abducted its cadre Resham Lal Thapa; UML cadres Hom Nath Pandey, Khum Lal Phal, Rajan Parajuli; and Tikaram Thapa and RPP cadre Dhan Bahadur BK.
