Blast kills two in Jajarkot
Two persons of a family in Jajarkot were killed when a bomb, allegedly
left behind by the Maoists, went off last evening.
Reports said the 'accidental' blast occurred inside the house of one
Parasuram Shah in Garkhakot VDC at around 7:30 pm, killing his two sons
Govinda, 20, and Dhan Bahadur, 17.
Officials at the Jajarkot District Police Office said a rocket launcher
and a sub-machinegun (SMG) and a stash of explosives were recovered from
the house.
They suspect that former rebels were using the house to store arms and explosives. There has been no comment from the side of the Maoists as yet. nepalnews.com mk Mar 230 08
