NC deplores 'anarchic' behaviour of Maoists

Nepali Congress (NC) has deplored the Maoists for continuing what they call as 'non political and anarchic' behaviour by the Maoists even after the election.

The party has accused the Maoists of increasing physical attack against its party workers and supporters; forcing them to resign from their professions and so on.

Issuing a statement, Friday, NC chief secretary Jeevan Prem Shrestha has expressed concern at the failure of improvement in the attitude and practice of Maoist cadres.

The party has asked the government to take action against the Maoist workers involved in such attacks and intimidation.

It has accused the Maoists of forcing four teachers - who are supporters of NC - to resign from their positions in Gorkha district. nepalnews.com sd May 17 08
