RPP-N nominations challenged at CA court A case challenging the nominations of the CA members under proportional representation from Rastriya Prajatantra Party – Nepal has been filed at the Constituent Assembly Court on Sunday.
Punne Bajra Lama and six other RPP-N members moved the court stating that the selection of candidates by the party was biased and illegal.
The party nominated Ram Narayan Singh, Kunti Shahi, Babita Moktan to the constituent assembly. The list has already been approved by the Election Commission.
The EC, party president Kamal Thapa, party member Chandra Bahadur Gurung and the newly nominated CA members have been made defendants in the case.
