PM’s China visit on cards
The Foreign Ministry is preparing for the visit to China by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav and Foreign Secretary Gyan Chandra Acharya, separately, the Nepal Samacharpatra daily quotes sources as saying.
The daily reports that while the dates have not been finalised, preparations are afoot for these visits.
The source adds that Acharya will first visit China followed by FM and then PM.
“During the PM’s visit, the two countries will also review past treaties and agreements,” the source is quoted as saying by the daily.
The report further adds that China could provide Rs 79 billion worth of loan for hydropower through Exim Bank during PM’s visit. nepalnews.com Nov 22 08
