Thai chaos delays Danish Minister's Nepal arrival
Danish Foreign Minister Dr. Per Stig Møller's arrival in Kathmandu has
been delayed by a day due to flight disruptions at the Bangkok Airport,
the Danish Embassy said.
Møller was to land in Kathmandu today via Bangkok where the international
airport has been closed down due to massive anti-government protests going
on since last few days.
During his four-day stay in Nepal, the Danish Foreign Minister will hold
talks with top political leaders on issues concerning Danish assistance to
Nepal's peace process and development projects.
Apart from the political consultations, Møller will visit the Beldangi
Bhutanese refugee camp in Jhapa on November 27 in order to familiarise
himself with the situation on the refugees. Denmark is one of those
countries resettling the refugees.
During his stay here, Møller will also visit some projects funded by the
