A Constituent Assembly member from Banke-4 constituency, Subedi bagged 346 votes in her favour.
There were 69 votes against her and 90 abstentions.
Her candidature had been backed by Maoists, Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) and Jana Morcha. The CPN-ML made its candidate Nilam KC stay neutral and backed Subedi, instead.
Earlier, Pratibha Rana of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Lila Nyaichyai of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) and Khobhari Raya of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) were defeated in the voting.
