Hetauda industries resume operation

All 55 industries based in Hetauda resumed their operation from Sunday morning after the managements conceded to the demands of the workers.

The standoff in these industries ended after the management of these industries agreed to implement the hike in their monthly wages as stipulated by the government.

The Maoist-led government had in its first budget few months back had directed all industries of the country to increase the monthly wage of industrial workers by Rs 1300.
