Muslims obstruct road section condemning blast in a mosque

People from Muslim community have obstructed Duhabi road section of East West Highway, Sunday morning, protesting the bomb blast at a mosque in Hattemuda of Morang district in eastern Nepal.

The blast had occurred on Saturday evening. Five people were injured in the blast.

The protesters have demanded action against the culprits. The obstruction has hit communters going in and out of eastern city of Biratnagar.

Pamphlets of Nepal Defense Army – a little known extremist group – were found at the site of explosion, say reports. nepalnews.com Oct 05 08
