Oli calls Maoists' 'talks' of establishing people's republic a farce
A senior leader of ruling coalition partner Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) has termed the 'talks' of establishing people's republic by some Maoist leaders as a 'farce.'

"They are only trying to fool the people by talking about people's republic," Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, UML standing committee member, said, speaking at a programme in Jhapa, Monday.
He also blasted the decision of the Maoist-led government to raise the monthly salaries of People's Liberation Army (PLA) by Rs 2000.
