NC to launch national campaign
The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to launch a nationwide campaign to reinvigorate the party.
The party will hold a mass meeting in Biratnagar on October 25 to kick off the campaign.
The mass meeting is being coordinated by Morang district Congress committee, according to its chief Amrit Aryal.
Aryal informed that party president and former prime minister Girija Prasad Koirala will address the mass meeting – the first being organised by NC after it became the main opposition party.
Subsequently for two months the party will launch campaign for organisational strengthening in all 240 constituencies of the country, Aryal informed. nepalnews.com sd Oct 08 08
