NC has no plan to pull down govt: Koirala
The acting president of Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party, Sushil Koirala has said that his party does not have any plan to pull down the government.
Talking to reporters in Nepalgunj, Saturday, Koirala said that the current government would, instead, collapse because of Maoists’ behaviour.
“Our party does not have the plan to pull down the government,” he said.
Koirala came down hard against the Maoists for ignoring the plight of people displaced by the conflict and for not returning seized properties.
Koirala also lashed at the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) for what he called as its biased behaviour.
“UNMIN could not be fair. It talks about the problems of Maoist combatants but it does not speak about the problems of Maoist victims,” he said. nepalnews.com sd Oct 12 08
