Sarita Giri elected NSP president
The fifth general convention of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (NSP) underway in
Siraha has unanimously elected Sarita Giri as the party's new president.
Giri was elected as president after the candidates for the post withdrew
their nominations Monday. The general convention is to elect 20 central
committee members later today.
On Sunday, the party changed its name to NSP from NSP (Anandi Devi).
Party's rival faction led by Shyam Sundar Gupta is also holding a separate
