INLS Netherlands chapter formed

Enthusiasts of Nepali literature living in the Netherlands have established the national chapter of International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) on October 18.

According to a statement, the new chapter of Nepali literatures is being led by Surya Raj Giri. Ashok Parajuli has been named vice president and Phanindra Panta as the general secretary.

Shrihari Giri, Jivan Baral, Thaneshor Gautam, Birendra Raj Giri, Shashi Poudel and Ram Babu Nepal are also associated with the organisation.

The expansion of the INLS based in Washington DC comes days before it prepares to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mahakavi Lamxmi Prasad Devkota this month with functions worldwide.
