Koirala accuses Maoists of hitting at independence of judiciary
President of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and former prime minister Girija Prasad Koirala has accused the Maoists of undermining the independence of judiciary.
Talking to reporters in Biratnagar, Friday, Koirala referred to recent dispute between bar and bench as efforts to undermine the independence of judiciary.
He also took a swipe at recent remarks made by Law Minister and Maoist leader Dev Gurung that 'capable' people who conducted "People's court" could be integrated into legal service.
