Curfew tightened in Dhankuta
The district administration of Dhankuta has tightened the curfew imposed in Dhankuta Bazaar, on the third consecutive day Tuesday.
Armed Police Force (APF) personnel along with Nepal Police have been deployed around the bazaar in large number.
The bazaar has not returned to normalcy due to clashes between the cadres of Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) and UML-affiliated Youth Force over the collection of road tax.
The curfew has not been relaxed since Monday morning. The dispute continued despite calls from both the parties to shun violence and maintain restraint. nepalnews.com ia Sep 02 08
