MK Nepal warns Maoists to stick with understandings
The former general secretary of Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal has warned the Maoists to stick with past understandings.
Addressing a public programme, Thursday, Nepal, said, there should be discussions on how to proceed with army integration.
"How many of the Maoist combatants should be integrated into army, how many should be sent for employment and how many should be given vocational training, we need to thoroughly discuss the issue," he said.
A few days after the Maoist-affiliated YCL cadres clashed with UML-affiliated Youth Force in Dhankuta, Nepal accused that the YCL problem was still worsening.
"If the Maoists move ahead based on understanding, we can cooperate. If they do not then conflicts arise. The way they have started behaving immediately after getting to power, we are feeling suspicious," he said. nepalnews.com Sep 04 08
